Autodesk is gradually transitioning new software purchases for their products to subscription options only.
By January 31, 2016 Autodesk will stop selling new perpetual licenses of individual products, and after July 31, 2016 Autodesk will no longer sell new perpetual licenses (both standalone and network licenses) of Autodesk Design & Creation Suites.

Here are some frequently asked questions to get you started.
Can I continue to use my existing perpetual licenses?
Yes. You will be able to continue using your existing software licenses indefinitely, including any new perpetual licenses purchased before January 31 2016 (for individual products) and July 31 2016 (for suites).
Can I continue to use and renew my Maintenance Subscription for my existing perpetual license?
Yes. This transition does not affect your current maintenance subscription in any way. For perpetual licenses with active Maintenance, you will continue to receive updates to your existing software version along with other benefits for as long as you continue to renew your Maintenance Subscription on time.
How will I be able to purchase products after the end of sale of perpetual licenses?
You will purchase Autodesk Products via a subscription.
